05. Margarita With A Straw (2014)
This masterpiece revolved around two girls Laila and a blind Pakistani girl. The character of Laila is played by Kalki Koechlin. Laila shares a close relationship with her mother, in one scene Laila seems to lecture her mother on invading her privacy while watching porn. The movie is based on Laila’s journey from teenager to liberated women in NewYork.
06. My brother nikhil
The film is based on gay relationship and AIDS, directed by onir, starring Juhi Chawla as a sister of Nikhil, Sanjay Suri as Nikhil and Nigel. it addresses AIDS and homosexuality in a very dignified way.
Nikhil is a swimming champion and diagnosed with HIV. When it cames out that Nikhil is gay and HIV positive, his friends and family started insulting him. Only his sister supported him against all.
The movie is laced with emotions and heart touching scenes. It portrays the pathetic behaviour of society with homosexuals.
Story of the movie revolved around two married women released in 1996. Lesbian love relationship and explicit scene resulted in cinemas being trashed by Hindu mobs.

Randeep meets Saqib resulted in attraction but both refused to make a bond with each other. The movie is not wholly based on homosexuality but portrays a gay character in a minor part. Actually, this movie created controversy because of women masturbating in a scene. This movie also portrays lesbian love characters.
10. Kapoor and sons
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was featured as gay in this movie. Actually, all top Indian actors refused to play this character, fearing what it would do to their image. Fawad khan plays character beautifully but the issue is why mainstream Indian actors denied this role.
